Laura looked at her reflection. Conservative, but comfortable. She took a deep breath and tried to calm her nerves. It had been a while, but it was time she did this again. Exhaling, she walked down the stairs.

“You look pretty, Mommy,” Lulu said.

Laura smiled. “Thank you, baby.”

“Say hi to Kevin for me,” Lesley said.

“I will.”

Later, as she neared their meeting place, she felt more at ease. Kevin was standing outside.

“It’s good to see you, Laura,” he said, smiling.

“You too.”

“Ready?”

“I think so.” They walked into his office and started the first session.
